Fertil F Phase-2
Fertil F Phase-2
Amitamin Fertil F phase 2 is a supplement to be taken during pregnancy and throughout lactation. This supplement is a complete formula with 24 micronutrients.
Amitamin® Fertil F phase 2 With 600 µg folate, bioactive folate (Quatrefolic®), and folic acid, Fertil F phase 2 is the perfect supplement to take from your 2nd trimester (13 weeks of pregnancy) until you have completed lactation.
Fertil F Phase-2 includes essential omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA, 12 vitamins and 10 trace elements and minerals.
By taking this supplement before pregnancy, folate levels should be optimal to support a healthy pregnancy. However, low folate levels in the second and third weeks of gestation are associated with an increased risk of neural tube defects in the unborn child.
Contains 300 mg of L-carnitine, a crucial amino acid needed for energy production.
Contains 550 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (DHA, EPA). These fatty acids are essential for supporting the development of the brain during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Omega-3 fatty acids also help with the development of healthy eyes.
It contains 50mg of Citrus Bioflavonoids, a potent natural antioxidant to safeguard against free radical damage.
Contains 2,000 micrograms of beta-carotene, essential for eye health and protection against free radicals.
It contains 20 micrograms of Vitamin D, the recommended daily dose according to the latest scientific studies. Vitamin D is mainly absent from diet and is otherwise only formed through the skin following sunlight exposure.

The vitamins, trace elements and omega-3 fatty acids in Amitamin® fertil F Phase 2
Formula with L-carnitine
L-carnitine plays a crucial role in energy metabolism. It transports fatty acids into the mitochondria (the "power plants" of every cell) so that the fatty acids are then ready to produce energy. Thus, L-carnitine allows for the conversion of fat into energy. In addition, L-carnitine plays a vital role in the detoxification of the liver and the excretion of exogenous substances. L-carnitine is mainly absorbed by consuming lamb, beef, and poultry. Therefore, vegetarian food contains minimal amounts of L-carnitine.
We exclusively use Carnipure®: highly pure, natural L-carnitine produced by Lonza. This Swiss-patented fermentation process provides an exceptionally high degree of purity (100%). Quality is our first obligation!
Formula with Citrus Bioflavonoids
Citrus bioflavonoid has strong antioxidant properties and protects the cells against damage from free radicals.
Omega-3 fatty acids: essential during and after pregnancy for your child's development!
Omega-3 fatty acids are vital for metabolism and can only be sourced through the foods we eat. For example, fish is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and should be eaten at least twice a week. In addition, it's scientifically proven that omega-3 fatty acids may contribute to a healthy heart and help balance cholesterol levels.
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), an essential component of omega-3 fatty acids, is needed from the mother's diet to support the normal development of the unborn child's brain. This supplement during breastfeeding will also support healthy infant brain development and eyesight.
Focus on the Micronutrient complex.
The vitamin B complex plays a central role in nerve function and energy metabolism. A lack of B vitamins can lead to fatigue and exhaustion. Smoking, stress and high activity also increase the need for B vitamins such as niacin (formerly known as vitamin B3), pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), biotin (vitamin B7) and folic acid (vitamin B9).
Vitamin B12 is also essential for many processes in the brain. Specifically, vitamin B12 is involved in the formation of neurotransmitters and nerve layers. It's also necessary for the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin B12 is also needed for active cell division and helps to break down homocysteine levels. Vegan diets are deficient in vitamin B12 as this essential compound is not present in plants, which is why amitamin® fertil F places particular emphasis on vitamin B12.
Trace elements: Iron and zinc deficiency can cause chronic fatigue or exhaustion. During pregnancy, more stress is placed on the body, increasing the demand for these trace elements. Iron is essential for forming red blood cells that carry oxygen in the blood. Zinc is also a necessary mineral for the immune system. amitamin® fertil F phase 2 is optimised for these essential trace elements.
The Amitamin® fertil F phase 2 intensive formula also contains natural vitamin E, vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, high doses of vitamin C and the minerals calcium (increased need during pregnancy and menopause) and magnesium (essential for strong, healthy bones), iodine, selenium and copper.
What other functions do micronutrients contained in Amitamin® Fertil F phase 2 have?
Folic acid contributes to the normal growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. In addition, folic acid functions in cell division, i.e. the growth processes.
Supplementing folic acid increases the folate level in pregnant women. A low folate level in pregnant women is a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the growing fetus. In women of childbearing age, the positive effect of folic acid supplementation is achieved by supplementing 400 μg of folic acid daily for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. However, neural tube defects can also have causes other than an inadequate supply of folic acid. Increasing the folate level may not always prevent the development of neural tube defects.
Iodine and selenium contribute to the normal production of thyroid hormones and support thyroid function. During pregnancy, the need for iodine is increased.
The vitamins B6, B12, niacin, and iron contained in amitamin® fertil F help reduce fatigue.
Vitamins C, D, folic acid, B6 and B12, as well as the trace elements zinc, selenium and copper, contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), biotin and niacin contribute to preserving normal mucous membranes (e.g. intestinal mucous membranes and mucous membranes in the bladder tract).
Vitamins C, E, and B2 (riboflavin) and zinc, selenium, copper and manganese help protect cells from oxidative stress.
Calcium and vitamin D3 contribute to maintaining healthy bones.
